Project Management Process

In order to use Holy Apostles’ resources and staff time most efficiently, the Marketing & Communications Department will implement the following.

Depending on the type of project, we will have two different processes to follow. We produce projects requested by staff/faculty and those initiated by the Marketing & Communication Department.

Requested by Staff/Faculty:

    1. You submit a project, and we discuss it with you.
    2. We will submit a plan for your approval.
    3. We work on your project, and you approve the finished product.

You must submit the request online: http://communication.holyapostles.edu/support. We will acknowledge the request (approve, postpone, or deny), and when possible give an estimated completion date.

Any project must designate a single decision maker to discuss needs and make approvals.

If you do not approve the plan or completed product, you may submit one revision request: a single list of changes. We will then make changes and submit it again for your approval.

All projects involving communication, branding, and marketing are subject to final approval by the Marketing Department.

Some projects may be larger and require additional milestones. Each milestone will follow the same approval process.

Initiated by the Marketing Department:

  1. Any project should have a due date and list of stakeholders to be consulted.
  2. When necessary, a short project outline will be sent to individual stakeholders requesting a single email with a list of feedback.
  3. Based on this feedback, we will send a draft to individual stakeholders for additional feedback (as a single list of suggestions).
  4. A final draft is produced and approved by Fr. Peter Kucer, Rector-President, for production.
